Applications are invited for admission into 1st Semester of LL.M. classes to be commenced from Januaray,2021.

Eligibility : LL.B. / Five Year Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) / B.Com. LL.B. (Hons) degree from Gauhati University or from any recognised University with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates)
Admission Procedure : Eligible candidates shall have to appear in a Written Test conducted by Gauhati University to be held on 19-12-2020. Admission shall be made strictly on merit.


1. Candidates are first required to go to the G.U. website below to open the On-Line Application Form.
2. Candidates will have to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that an Application number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Application number and password .
3. A SMS indicating the Application number and password will also be sent to the registered Mobile No. They can reopen the saved data using Application number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.
4. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph, Signature and Grade Sheet.
5. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use
the “SAVE AND NEXT” option to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button.

Students who have qualified in the Written Test conducted by Gauhati University should apply online at Students need to register his/her name in Admission Portal by filling up information as required in the Form. Once registration is completed you will be automatically proceed to the Admission Form. Then you need to fill up / follow the following steps (1) Student Information (2) Contact Information (3) Academic Details and (4) Upload Documents. Once documents is uploaded, you need to pay Application Fee amounting to Rs. 500/- online as prompted by the Portal. You may opt to pay the Application Fee via (a) Credit/Debit Card of any Bank, (b) Online Banking, (c) Wallet or (4) UPI. Once, the application fee is paid, you will get confirmation page wherein you can print out your admission form. Simultaneously an SMS will be delivered to your registered mobile number which shall contain link to your admission portal along with your 'User Name' and 'Password'. You need to save it till admission process is over. Even after payment you can upload documents or can upload appropriate document in the admission portal.
