         From a modest beginning in 1993 to one premier professional College of North East India, NEF College has been rendering exemplary services in the field of higher education in a short span of time with special emphasis on job-oriented professional courses in Management, Computer Application, Journalism and the like. Our pioneering job in introducing the course of BBA in 1997 has already proved rewarding in its vision to train up the young generation for the corporate world. 

The recent decision of the Governments of India, Myanmar and Thailand to complete the highway connecting the three countries within a span of two years is opening a new vista in the international relationships of the South-East Asian countries with promises of promotion in trade relations as well as socio-cultural counterparts. 

Our vision has turned into reality and our mission of services to the nation gets moral boosting to step ahead with renewed vigour and inspiration in all the educational programmes with the latest syllabi of the Universities concerned. Our vision claims  innovation   with the introduction of the  course of    BJMC, the only  First Degree Course in Journalism &Mass Communication in entire North East India till date. Our computer programmes with up-to-date technical facilities  have enjoyed ever-increasing response from the young generation in commensurating with the ever-widening fields of placement and higher training facilities. It is a glory to our college that its alumni has enjoyed placement and higher training facilities nationwide.

NEF has been looking ahead for expansion, extension and dissemination of higher education with more and more courses of modern studies. In its efforts to encourage and inspire the young generation to opt courses of human and professional interest, the Foundation has maintained constant touch with the modern trends in the fields of educational exploration and thus, it has maintained its pace and progress unabated in realizing its aims and objectives. It now stands as one of the premier institutions of the North East Region of the country by virtue of its devotion and service to the society as a whole. The Foundation has been running NEF College of Management & IT and NEF Junior College since 1997 and we have now taken up the task of producing quality legal professionals at NEF Law College.
