Dear
Students,
The
idea of studying law is an
exciting and intriguing
prospect. The
decision of choosing an institution to pursue your
under graduate Law degree is a very important one,
and for most of you is the first major
independent decision in your lives. This is
a process that requires a lot of thinking. I take
immense pride in welcoming you to
NEF Law College,
the first Law College offering
five year law programme in whole North
East India. |

In
order to understand better the value addition of
‘Law’ education and its impact on the society
as well as to groom up the budding talents and
mould their career as Legal professionals, NEF Law
College will undertake a comprehensive effort to
develop and implement learning assessment. We want
to become a ‘learning- centered’ institution
and that requires a refocus on our attention to
include learning and how it is assessed.

We
do not lay emphasis on theoretical knowledge alone
but stress on active participation of all students
in the various national seminars, symposia,
colloquia as well as moot courts that the college
organizes. The interaction between our students
and the speakers is of utmost importance to us, so
we stress upon guest lectures by eminent legal
luminaries, where the speakers to student ratio is
less. In fact, Guest lectures and seminars are an
integral part of our curriculum. |

place where this cherished dream would come true. |
