THE ORGANISATION

National Education Foundation (NEF) was founded in 1993 as an educational NGO and registered under Societies Registration Act. It was formally inaugurated by Sri Golok Ch. Rajbangshi, the then Minister, Higher Education. Govt. of Assam.

NEF has been rendering exemplary services in the field of higher education in a short span of time with special emphasis on job-oriented professional courses in Management, Computer Application, Journalism and the like. Since its establishment, it has been rendering its services with dedication for dissemination of education keeping pace with the changing trend in educational scenario. It is this NEF that stood as pioneer by introducing the professional courses in Management, Computer Application, Journalism and the like. pace with the changing trend in educational scenario. It is this NEF that stood as pioneer by introducing the course of BBA in the entire North East Region and was able to make the people aware of the new vistas in the educational field. In addition to the formal & non formal education the organization is engaged in academic and management researches, training etc.

LEGAL STATUS 

1)  Registered as an educational, Scientific & Social welfare Organisation under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.                   (2) Govt. of Assam in Education Department has issued NOC for conducting BCA, MBA, PGDCA, MCA, BJMC, BBA, B.Tech. etc courses vide Letter No. TEC.3/2003/4 dated 03.02.2003

Our mission is to facilitate comprehensive and integrated development of individuals for an effective function as social beings and our vision is to become a centre of excellence of learning.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION 

The Executive Council (EC) is the Apex Body of the sponsoring society which consists of 7 (Seven) members elected by the General Council members. All activities, plans and policies of the Institution are formulated, executed and controlled by the Executive Council of National Education Foundation. There is an Advisory Council comprising eminent academicians, philanthropists, and men in public life nominated by the EC.
