Ms. Moushumi Sarmah She has done her LL.M from Gujarat National Law University with specialization in Corporate and Business Law and has completed her B.A.LL.B (Hons) from Gauhati University. She also holds a Diploma in Cyber Law and Computer Application and has also successfully completed certificate courses on International Investment Law and International Contracts. Her areas of interest include Contract Law, Insurance Law, Banking Law, Law of Torts, Company Law, Taxation etc. Prior to joining NEF in Feb 2017, she practiced in Gauhati High Court and Lower Courts and was also a faculty member for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) in a number of institutes. She has publications in International as well as National Journals and has also presented various research papers covering different areas of law in International and National Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. She has also completed Faculty Development Programmes, Short Term Course and Orientation and Sensitization Programme to her credit. She was an active Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) in Assam State Legal Services Authority and was also an intern in Assam State Information Commission. Further, she had also done internship under Senior Advocate, Gauhati High Court and was also associated with a number of NGOs.
